Assignment 1 : Reflection

From our first assignment; article review; there are some expressions and suggestions toward the issue of CALL in learning activity such as language learning becomes more uncomplicated and students will enjoy a new experience of learning using computer as their learning assistance. CALL had been used in order to gain an increment of language learning. Nevertheless, technology improvement helps the language learning becomes more systematic and the students are no longer depend on their teacher and language class only in gaining more language knowledge. During the progress of doing this assignment, we could say that we found some problems where we do not understand and familiar with the CALL software such as NovaNet. It is because, during our language learning process at school, we do not be provided with such a program back then. However, barriers of language learning would be occurred if the implementation of technology such as computer and internet is not being done well especially in rural areas. In addition, it is hope that technology improvement would covers all around the world; rural and urban areas so that language learning would rapidly developed for all. What we can reflect from this assignment is the importance of CALL which helps to ease us to learn English easier and more enjoy because technology creates the environment more creative and imaginative. Our first major assignment creates awareness towards the use of CALL and how it helps us in learning progress.
